The RPiS is a dynamic hand-controlled intubating stylet with a tip that can be flexed and retroflexed to intubate difficult airways using video and direct laryngoscopy. The RPiS will improve difficult intubations where “you can see it but you can’t get it there” with standard malleable and rigid stylets, reducing multiple attempts at intubation. The RPiS provides the same power of combining video laryngoscopy and a fiber-optic bronchoscope with the hands of only one anesthesiologist. The RPiS is an essential tool for the difficult airway.
