FLOW-i is designed with the changing needs of patients and clinicians in mind. An innovative re-breathing technology replaces both the traditional bellows and piston technologies for quick and precise wash-in and wash-out of anesthetic agent, while providing high-performance ICU-quality ventilation for all patient categories including the most challenging cases. FLOW-i’s innovative design has been shown to save up to 35% in anesthetic agent use, compared with a leading competitor, without any need for change in practice for the anesthesia provider (data on file with MAQUET). FLOW-i supports low-flow technique with its unique O2 Guard and the open IT architecture, allowing the individual facility to select their monitor and EMR of choice. FLOW-i is ergonomically designed, height adjustable and can be configured to satisfy a variety of workflow requirements.
