SAN DIEGO—Predicting safe redosing of bupivacaine and ropivacaine in truncal catheters just got easier, thanks to the efforts of a multicenter collaboration between researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital, Thomas Jefferson Hospital and the University of Illinois at Chicago. The investigators concluded that safe redosing would equate to 0.92 to 1.35 mg/kg every six hours by ideal body weight.
