San Diego—A new study by researchers at Boston Children’s Hospital is good news for reducing opioid use in adolescents after surgery.
The investigation found that adolescents who underwent surgery with continuous local anesthetic peripheral nerve blockade consumed less opioids than their counterparts who received single-shot injections.
