Introduction

Airway management is problematic during gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy for many reasons. Primarily, endoscopes and airway devices must share the same region of the oropharynx, restricting access when airway adjustments are necessary. Traditional tools are not designed to reach distal pharyngeal tissue, often the source of
