Suction-Assisted Containment of Respiratory Droplets During Airway Management With the SALAD Technique

The purpose of this simulation is to examine the implications of the deliberate use of suction during the airway management of a patient with a respiratory infectious disease, and to examine a technique that may serve to reduce respiratory droplet emissions and potentially increase the safety of the procedure for the caregiver.
