Young Physicians Shine at NY Academy of Medicine Contest

Mudit Kaushal, MD, from Montefiore Medical Center, claimed the top prize at the Third Annual Jeopardy and Poster Contest at the New York Academy of Medicine last month, for his presentation on the Transfusion Risk and Clinical Knowledge score and perioperative transfusion.

The winners of the jeopardy competition were Jacob Jackson, MD, and Brett Weiner, MD, from NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medicine, and Sameer Lakha, MD, and David Maertz, MD, from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount
