Lower Doses of Sugammadex May Still Be Effective

Orlando, Fla.—Lower doses of sugammadex may not result in clinically significant delays in recovery from neuromuscular blockade, according to a new study. A team of Belgian investigators found that the minimal optimal dose of sugammadex in elective surgery might be as low as 0.5 mg/kg.
