As extreme weather events become more common, there is an expectation of medical shortages and a larger pool of patients needing care. Ultimately, this could strain hospitals and healthcare facilities.
In a session at the 2024 annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Diane Wood Gordon, MD, an anesthesiologist at Children’s Hospital
