Anesthesia Delivery Systems

The A-Series platform combines the simplicity of traditional anesthesia delivery with advanced technology and features. Award-winning design, an intuitive user interface and advanced ICU quality ventilation modes support effective care across a wide range of patients. The 15-inch color touchscreen is designed for comfortable interaction and visibility, allowing clinicians to easily select ventilation modes and adjust settings. Automatic compliance and fresh gas compensation maintain accurate tidal volumes while the temperature-controlled breathing system virtually eliminates internal condensation.

The A5 Anesthesia System comes with advanced ventilation modes, spirometry, a high-pressure O₂ port, central brake and many other features as standard. Optional integrated gas analysis with dual-agent auto-ID, age-based MAC values and capnography further enhance the ability to support high-acuity requirements. The A3 Anesthesia System provides many of the features and benefits of an advanced anesthesia delivery system for the outpatient and mid-acuity environment.

The new A7 Anesthesia Workstation includes all of the functionality of the A5, and incorporates additional features such as electronic gas control to ensure precise gas flow dynamics to support clinical decision making. The Fresh Gas Optimizer supports cost-saving initiatives by promoting low-flow anesthesia delivery, recirculation of sample gas and implementation of an intraoperative fresh gas management tool.

A-Series safety features include an auxiliary oxygen and air-flow meter that delivers blended gas through the nasal cannula, decreasing the potential risk for surgical fire. The A-Series delivers fresh gas and anesthetic agent in the event of total loss of power.

Anesthesia Connectivity

Connectivity and interoperability are at the core of the A-Series Anesthesia System platform. Since the ARRA and HITECH programs passed in 2009, the health care industry has seen the adoption of electronic health record (EHR) and anesthesia information management systems in record numbers. Mindray has been a leader, developing integrated solutions for seamless data exchange. Serial communication, Ethernet communication or both can be deployed using industry standard HL7 protocols. Through this integration, the A-Series Anesthesia Systems are well equipped to meet the interoperability requirements for integration engines and EHR systems.

Powerful Technology in Patient Monitoring and Network Solutions

The new Passport line offers a broad range of patient monitoring capabilities in a robust, modular design. The Passport 17M’s large 17-inch touchscreen display is most appealing in the operating room, where visibility and convenience are essential. The Passport 12M’s flexibility and modularity combine with a 12-inch touchscreen display to offer a complementary solution for postoperative areas. Supporting up to eight invasive pressures and features such as auto-ID of anesthetic agents and gases, and BIS monitoring, the Passport 12M and 17M represent a powerful combination of advanced functionality and extraordinary value.

The newly introduced T1 Transport Monitor/Module is a module and monitor all in one. Used as a multi-parameter module in the Passport 12M and 17M monitors, the T1 provides 3/5/12 lead ECG, 2 IBP, SpO₂, temperature and NIBP, satisfying many monitoring requirements in the OR environment. For use as a transport monitor, simply remove the T1 from the Passport monitor and go. The versatile 2-lb package, with its brilliant 5-inch touchscreen display, allows continuous monitoring from procedure to recovery.

Ultrasound Imaging

Mindray continues to expand its innovative solutions for point-of-care environments with the introduction of the TE7 Touch Enabled Ultrasound System. The new touchscreen-based system with superior imaging supports rapid and confident diagnosis in the OR and at the bedside. Intuitive gesture controls and focused anesthesia exams minimize the user learning curve, with no need to navigate a knob-cluttered keyboard. Simply select an exam preset and the relevant functions become accessible. With its advanced touchscreen interface and expanded features, including iNeedle™ visualization and dedicated nerve exam presets, the TE7 is an ideal system for nerve block and pain management. With the addition of cardiac functionality and the TEE transducer, the TE7 also meets the demands of the CVOR environment.
