A 25-year-old previously healthy man presented to the OR for a repeat incision and drainage (I&D) of his lower extremity. The patient was in a motor vehicle accident 10 days before this visit and sustained multiple injuries. He presented with lung contusions, a subdural hematoma, and fracture of the right tibia and fibula with a degloving injury.
