Case Presentation
A 25-year-old pregnant woman, at 34 weeks’ gestational age, presented to the emergency department following a motor vehicle accident in which she was an unrestrained front-seat passenger. She presented awake, alert and oriented, with blood pressure, 130/90 mm Hg; heart rate, 97 beats per minute; and oxygen saturation, 100% at the FiO2 of 0.4 by simple face mask.
