SAN FRANCISCO—A study evaluating the transition from femoral nerve catheters to adductor canal catheters at a single institution has found no difference in postoperative analgesic requirements. According to the retrospective analysis, patients receiving adductor canal blockade for total knee arthroplasty required morphine equivalents similar to femoral nerve blockade over the first three postoperative days.
