Preexisting Frailty in Elderly Trauma Patients Linked to Post-op Delirium

New York—Preoperative frailty is related to new-onset postoperative delirium (POD) in acute-care, orthopedic trauma patients 65 years old and older, according to researchers at Tufts Medical Center.
