New guidelines issued by the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN) give physicians an up-to-date and comprehensive guide for evaluating the safety and efficacy of interventional treatments for low back pain (LBP). The guidelines, published in the Journal of Pain Research (2022;15:3729-3832), are founded upon recommending treatments that are based on the highest-quality evidence while informing physicians of the risks and possible complications of each treatment.
